TDS 200 Skimmers to MDPC's Mizushima Base, Japan

Kaneyasu Co. Ltd., Foilex exclusive distributor in Japan, have started the second phase supply and deliver of totally 20 Foilex TDS 200 Sea Skimmer Systems to the Japanese Maritime Disaster Prevention Center (MDPC).

This year first 2 out of 10 TDS 200 Skimmer Systems were delivered by Kaneyasu to MDPC's Mizushima oil spill recovery equipment stockpile base, Okayama Prefecture.

The comissioning and operational training of the system at sea was made on Apr. 18.

MDPC will deploy two Systems each at four more bases throughout Japan during this year. Each base will have two Skimmer Systems installed on a work boat together with two sweep arms,oil booms and a 50 ton towable tank.

Each Skimmer System includes Foilex TDS 200 Sea Skimmer head, DH 35-H Powerpack and RC 100 Remote control here showed at Kaneyasu workshop before delivery to MDPC.
