| Alpina/Briggs choses Foilex for Petrobras CDA bases. Foilex has recently recieved an order from Alpina/Briggs, Brazil to supply 9 complete Foilex TDS 250 Skimmer System including Powerpacks and Hose Packages to the new Environmental Centers, CDA, installed by Petrobras Brazil.
The new Environmental Centers will support the local contingency plans
already existing at the Petrobras terminals, refineries and other facilities. Foilex TDS Skimmers with capacities up to 140 tons/h are especially suited for medium to large oil spills with high viscous oils mixed with debris due to it's large displacment and rotating cutting knives.
Both equipment and personal that can quickly be dislocated to fight
emergency oil spills in any part of Brazil.

The TDS 250 Skimmer Systems will be delivered during the next three month to
each of Petrobras 9 new CDA's stategically located throughout Brazil
with Sao Paulo as National Center.
Each Environmental Centers, with an average of 20 trained proffesionals,
are equipped with various skimmers, boats, chemical dispersant, bioremediation
agents, 20 km of containment booms and oil absorbents.
