The performance test was carried out by completely submerging the TDS 150 Pump in a tank filled with oil of viscosity 1.000 cSt and discharging into a measuring tank through a controlled discharge valve including pressure gauge.

A series of capacity tests were carried out at 150, 300, 450, 600 and 750 rpm with open valve and three different counter pressures of 3, 6 and 10 bar.

Sludge oil of 1.000 cSt is filled into the test tank from vacuum trucks under supervision from Foilex engineer (left).

The TDS 150 pump is the only available 30 ton/hr Archimedian Screw Pump in the world small enough to fit through standard "Butterworth" hatches of diam. 300 mm (right).

Area of operation for the TDS 150 Pump is off-loading or transfer pumping of high viscous products such as crude oil, bunker oil and emulsions. The Pump is portable but also suited for fixed installations in various types of oil combating vessels or skimmer systems other than Foilex weir skimmers.
