Foilex have as manufacturer participated in the CMEPP-99 presentation of Swedish Oil Spill Response Technology.

The 4 week long international "Coastal and Marine Environmental Pollution Prevention" -99 course was held by SSPA Maritime Consulting in Gothenburg during April and May.

The delegates who attended the CMEPP-99 course were mainly from Asia, Africa, Middle East and Central America representing coast guards, port authorities, environmental authorities, oil companies etc. in their various home countries.

Foilex presentation included a breef history of the company, an overview of the product range and how to use the Foilex TDS Skimmer and Pump Systems efficiently in various oil spill situations.

The presentations of Swedish equipment were arranged by Mr Göran Hamne at the Swedish Trade Council.
