Improved High Speed Circus tested in Germany!

Captain Blombergs High Speed Circus has been further developed.
To increase the vortex stability and it’s behaviour around the Skimmer inlet the Circus inner shape has been made circular instead of hexagonal.

The maximum towing speed or river current speed in which the Circus can be operated efficiently has thereby reached almost 4 knots.

Tested in Germany
A field tests of the new Circus incl. Foilex Mini Well Skimmer , 100m Oil Boom and a newly invented BoomVane was successfully carried out in September by the German Rescue Service THW in Hoya.

The complete River System was quickly deployed in only 25 minutes by Mr Robert Byström from the Swedish company PREMATOR with assistance from two men.

Fast oil boom deployment with patented ORC Boom Vane
The BoomVane is a device for quick oil boom deployment in combinations with the Circus.
It is suitable for use in rivers and other waterways without the use of boats, anchors or fixed installations.

The River System can be operated in rivers with heavy traffic as the Boom Vane control rudder allows for fast and effortless retrieval from midstream.
