All FOILEX Products are developed and designed by our own engineers, in close co-operation with leading consultants within the field, for Simple, Flexible and Reliable operation during various conditions.

To achieve optimal results and minimize the development time we are using powerful CAD/CAM programs such as Pro/Engineer and AutoCAD. Design drawings and production files are transfered direct to automatic NC production machines.

Unique Design
The importance of heavy duty "Screw Pumps" capable of pumping emulsified high viscous oils including debris was clearly shown during the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska, USA. Spilled crude oil become quickly high viscous in the cold water and on beaches.

After five months as service engineer during the Exxon Valdez oil spill and other practical experience from various oil spill operations world wide, Mr Anders Johansson therefore developed the "Twin Disc Screw" Technology in 1990 to meet this demand of pumping high viscous oils.

Practical use and experience of existing oil spill equipment has always been important for our engineers when improving FOILEX products.
We search continuously for new technology to enhance our product's capabilities.
